Assembly Technician Job Description

At Desert Tech LLC, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling our high-quality rifles to the most current quality standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use tools and equipment to complete assemblies
  • Follow standard processes to assemble products to the most current quality standard
  • Follow all rules and regulations in accordance to State and Federal Law, and Company policies to stay in compliance
  • Perform self-assessment of work which will include; visual inspection, physical manipulation of moving parts, and then sequential review of colleagues work which may require constructive feedback
  • Cleaning and packaging of Desert Tech products
  • Adhere to Desert Tech Health, Safety, and Quality guidelines in the Desert Tech facility
  • Maintain a high level of safety in and around the Assembly and Machine Shop area
  • Ensure that all documentation is correct including quantities and other records
  • Other incidental duties: General work and area housekeeping
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a Background Check
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Driver's License
  • Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to handle and test firearms
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English
