Laboratory Services Coordinator

Servicing laboratory needs requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to ensure smooth operation of laboratory services.
About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join Thermo Fisher Scientific Careers as a Laboratory Services Coordinator. As part of this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory and order management electronic systems, performing laboratory services, and working within computer systems to access and follow standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage inventory and order management electronic systems to perform activities such as on-site program replenishments, receiving, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, and expediting.
- Perform laboratory services including ordering, autoclave & glassware processing, gas management (LN2), and analyzing/maintaining/reconciling various reports.
- Work within computer systems to access and follow standard operating procedures.
- Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate degree in a related field being preferred.
- Two years of experience in a related field within a laboratory setting is helpful, with experience in customer service also being a plus.
- The ability to read, write, and speak English fluently is essential, with strong verbal and written communication skills being required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software is also necessary.
The ability to lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds consistently may be required, along with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Regularly standing or walking for prolonged periods is also necessary.
