Compensation

$20 per hour

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate various material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of all equipment utilized.
  • Meet productivity standards and work efficiently.
  • Retrieve inventory from designated locations and transport it to specified areas.
  • Utilize barcode scanners and warehouse management software effectively.
  • Maintain professionalism and focus during work activities.
  • Safely handle all warehouse machinery.
  • Follow directives from supervisory staff.
  • Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Ensure a safe and organized warehouse environment.
  • Maintain a positive work attitude.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Proficient in reading and speaking English.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Comfortable using electronic devices.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Basic math skills for counting and calculations.
  • Experience with forklift and cherry picker operation is preferred.
  • Flexibility with work hours is essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Responsible for additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, as well as frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and reaching. The ability to handle items weighing up to 50 lbs is necessary. Candidates should possess good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity.

Work Environment

The role will be performed in a warehouse setting, where temperatures may vary. Employees will work around machinery and equipment in a moderately noisy environment. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and interact with colleagues at all levels is essential.
