Service Advisor Role Summary

The Service Advisor at Browns Jeep Chrysler Dodge Ram Fiat Alfa Romeo is a key team member responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for clients. This role involves working closely with the sales and service teams to maintain positive relationships with customers and achieve dealership objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, maintaining a courteous demeanor at all times
- Assist clients in scheduling service appointments and provide accurate estimates for service repairs
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct vehicle walkarounds and document any damage or concerns
- Prepare detailed repair orders and communicate with technicians to prioritize work based on customer needs
- Keep clients informed about the status of their vehicle and follow up with additional service recommendations
- Collect payment from customers and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Stay up-to-date on dealership products and services, including warranties and extended service plans
- Ensure the service center is clean, organized, and well-maintained to provide a professional environment for customers
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote service and maintenance packages for customer retention
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and new vehicle technology

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficient in using computer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office and Dealer Management Systems
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to work full-time, including Saturdays
