Position Summary
We are seeking a Junior-to-Mid Level Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Engineer/Analyst/Software Developer to contribute to M&S initiatives within our Sensor Systems Analysis and Engineering Department (SSA&E).
You will be part of a dynamic team of software developers, engineers, and scientists focused on delivering innovative solutions to intricate challenges.
Our team addresses critical issues that significantly impact our clients and support the ongoing and future defense of our nation, particularly in sensor integration, testing, characterization, modeling, simulation, data analysis, and algorithm development for various sensor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and scientists to develop tools and apply analytical skills to resolve challenges across multiple disciplines, including M&S and sensor systems.
- Engage effectively with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to projects that require analysis and modeling of complex real-world phenomena to inform design and decision-making.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics, or a related field with relevant experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in a related domain.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Final Secret Clearance.
Preferred Skills
- Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing small projects within a high-performing team.
- Preference for candidates with stellar academic records, experience in simulation engineering, a SECRET clearance or higher, familiarity with EO/IR phenomenology, and programming experience in C++ and/or Python.
