Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Specialist for a locum tenens opportunity with ProLocums. This role involves providing essential care in a clinical setting.
Qualifications:
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
- Possession of an active Illinois medical license is mandatory.
Work Schedule: The coverage will commence following the completion of credentialing and payer enrollment. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no on-call duties, weekends, or night shifts required.
Orientation: The selected candidate will be required to attend an onsite orientation prior to the first assignment. This orientation will typically occur on a weekday and will include necessary administrative paperwork and training on the EPIC system.
Submission Requirements:
- Proof of Board Certification in Gastroenterology is essential.
- Active Illinois medical license is required.
- Availability for assignments as requested is necessary.
- Submission of a Stratum Med Cover Sheet in Word format.
- Two professional references as per Stratum’s process are required.
- Candidates who are clean and easy to credential are highly preferred.
Health Compliance: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to work at the facility.
Additional Licensing Requirements: Board Certification in Gastroenterology is a prerequisite for this position.
