Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of nursing services, nursing administration, rehabilitation, general nursing, and geriatric nursing.
- Utilize expertise in the Minimum Data Set (MDS) and its computer application (Electronic Medical Record) to ensure accurate and comprehensive care plans.
- Provide in-service training to nursing staff on care plans, documentation, and EMR application.
- Monitor resident EMR records for consistency and content, identifying and communicating any issues to the Director of Nursing and staff as needed.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff in a professional and cooperative manner.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of nursing services, nursing administration, rehabilitation, general nursing, and geriatric nursing.
- Excellent managerial, organizational, planning, computer, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
