Job Overview

We are actively searching for HVAC Electrical Technicians across various levels, including Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 (Journeyman), and Level 4 (Lead).

PVI CM Inc. is looking to expand its team with skilled HVAC Electrical Technicians at our West Chester branch. These roles will be integral to our HVAC Electrical division, focusing on commercial and industrial projects to diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities for Level 1:

  • Exhibit professionalism and respect towards clients and their environments.
  • Ensure job sites are kept tidy and organized.
  • Familiarize yourself with materials relevant to various projects and maintain organization of onsite supplies.
  • Acquire necessary skills to perform tasks related to diverse project types.
  • Engage in conduit bending, threading, and installation.
  • Assist in panelboard installation and wiring, utilizing tools correctly.
  • Utilize PVI's resources effectively, including MS Teams for scheduling and job-related documentation.
  • Be prepared to assist with projects or emergencies outside standard working hours.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities for Level 2:

  • All Level 1 duties plus:
  • Accountability for tools and materials in vehicles, ensuring they are stocked and organized to prevent delays.
  • Oversight of project productivity.
  • Learn and apply skills for the professional installation of electrical equipment in accordance with NEC standards.
  • Execute conduit bending, threading, and installation accurately.
  • Conduct project layout, measuring, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC codes.
  • Expand skill set beyond typical HVAC electrician tasks.
  • Manage equipment alarming circuits and network configurations.
  • Operate heavy machinery as needed.
  • Become proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Provide progress updates to Level 3 and above regarding project developments.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3-4 years of electrical experience.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.

Key Responsibilities for Level 3 (Journeyman):

  • All Level 2 duties plus:
  • Possession of a journeyman license.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Understanding of NEC regulations and completion of OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 training.
  • Install conduit from distribution to devices or panels, and manage installation of various electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities for Level 4 (Lead):

  • All Level 3 duties plus:
  • Possession of a journeyman license.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Understanding of NEC regulations and completion of OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 training.

We seek candidates who are self-motivated, proactive, and possess excellent communication skills.

Compensation will be determined based on experience and skill level.
