- Design Scalable Data Models: Design scalable and efficient data models, schemas, and pipelines within the Snowflake data warehouse platform.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Snowflake-based solutions.
- Implement Data Governance: Implement data governance and security measures to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance.
- Optimize Snowflake Performance: Optimize Snowflake performance through query optimization, indexing strategies, and resource utilization monitoring.
- Lead Technology Evaluation: Lead the evaluation and adoption of new Snowflake features and technologies to enhance data management capabilities.
- 10+ Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience as a Data Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on designing and implementing data solutions using Snowflake.
- Deep Knowledge of Snowflake: In-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including data storage, virtual warehouses, and data sharing functionalities.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL) for data manipulation and automation.
- Data Integration Experience: Strong understanding of data integration concepts and tools (e.g., ETL/ELT processes, streaming data pipelines).
- AWS Cloud Experience: Experience with AWS cloud and familiarity with Snowflake's integration capabilities with cloud services.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical/Life Science domain, including knowledge of patient data, Commercial data, drug development processes, and healthcare data.
- Collaboration Skills: Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to support data visualization, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
