Job Overview

Tiger Analytics is a pioneering company that leverages AI and analytics to solve complex business problems for Fortune 100 companies. With offices in the US, UK, India, and Singapore, and a global remote workforce, we're seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and implement robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage large-scale data analytics client engagements in a global delivery model
  • Collaborate with clients' Technology and Program teams to craft engagement planning and execution roadmaps
  • Work with business executives to understand business requirements and constraints for program success
  • Present solutions to technology and business audiences, highlighting solution robustness and business value
  • Communicate results to client stakeholders and develop plans to operationalize solutions
  • Develop innovative problem solutions leveraging modern data and analytics trends and patterns
  • Lead discussions on high-level architecture, platforms, and tools for data and analytics solutions
  • Steer discussions on strategizing and implementing digital and cloud solutions

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of experience in Big Data, data warehouse, data analytics projects, and/or Information Management related projects
  • Prior experience building large-scale enterprise data architectures using commercial and/or open-source Data Analytics technologies
  • Ability to estimate complexity, effort, and cost
  • Ability to produce client-ready solution architecture, business-understandable presentations, and good communication skills to lead and run workshops
  • Strong knowledge of data manipulation languages such as Spark, Scala, Impala, Hive SQL, Apache Nifi, and Kafka to build and maintain complex queries, streaming, and real-time data pipelines
  • Data modeling and architecting skills, including a strong foundation in data warehousing concepts and experience with data warehouse solutions, such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Snowflake
  • Good fundamentals around security integration, including Kerberos authentication, SAML, and data security and privacy techniques
  • Good knowledge in DevOps engineering using Continuous Integration/Delivery tools
  • An in-depth experience of Cloud solutions (AWS or Azure) and experience in integrating into traditional hosting/delivery models
  • Strong project management and team management skills and ability to work with global teams
  • Understanding of project management and agile methodologies
  • Ability to work in a large matrixed organization and steer the path to success
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
