About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Public Safety Officer to join our team at Parkview Health. As a key member of our security team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical security for all Parkview owned buildings, equipment, and grounds
  • Administer nonprofessional services to assist patients and their families
  • Create a safe campus environment with a focus on customer relations and service excellence
  • Enhance the patient experience by taking proactive steps to ensure a safe and secure environment
  • Perform general safety and security duties, including foot and vehicle patrol, escort functions, and access control
  • Assist with the Samaritan Crew and air crews from other medical services
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention program within six months of hire
  • Computer literacy and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle disoriented, disruptive, or combative individuals
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
