About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Jaquith Industries. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, and millwright maintenance duties to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Perform Maintenance Duties: Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
  • Lead and Mentor Team Members: Provide guidance and leadership to junior maintenance personnel to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Work with maintenance supervisors to prioritize and coordinate maintenance tasks to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Ensure compliance with established safety rules and policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks and perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, drive lift trucks, and perform tasks that require frequent reaching, handling, and lifting.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of experience in maintenance, mechanical, or electrical work.
  • Certifications and Training: Possess or be willing to obtain certifications in lift truck operation, power platform safety, and respirator use.
