Kilgore's Medical Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated individual with a strong background in customer service, ideally within a retail environment. While previous pharmacy experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite for consideration.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic, whether collaborating with a team or working independently;
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail;
- Possesses a friendly demeanor;
- Meets and exceeds expectations for outstanding customer service;
- Adapts effectively to evolving operational needs;
- Available to work up to 25 hours weekly, including at least one Saturday per month (two preferred) and one or two evenings weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily, deliver EXCEPTIONAL customer service to our clientele;
- Prepare medications and healthcare products for distribution;
- Accurately measure medication dosages in accordance with prescriptions;
- Utilize computer software to process prescriptions;
- Label and document dosage information appropriately;
- Oversee the storage and inventory of medications and supplies;
- Respond to phone inquiries directed to the pharmacy;
- Manage financial transactions;
- Assist customers both in-store and via phone.
Compensation:
Starting pay at $14 per hour, with opportunities for increases as you gain experience within the pharmacy. Higher starting wages may be available for candidates with prior pharmacy experience.
*We are particularly interested in candidates with daytime availability.*
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience within the last six years is required, with two or more years preferred;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
