Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team. As an SLPA, you will work collaboratively with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to develop and implement speech therapy programs for students with speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists: Work closely with licensed Speech Language Pathologists to develop and implement speech therapy programs that meet the needs of students with speech and language disorders.
  • Provide Speech and Language Interventions: Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide speech and language interventions that promote communication skills and language development.
  • Assess and Evaluate Student Needs: Assist in conducting assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs and develop individualized plans to address those needs.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents and teachers to ensure that students receive the support they need.
  • Create a Supportive Learning Environment: Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social and emotional growth and development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Related Field: Possess a bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Active or Pending SLPA License: Hold an active or pending SLPA license valid in the state of Texas.
