The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our Med/Surg - Hematology Unit. As a Part-Time RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, and addressing the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively, and ensure timely interventions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in healthcare.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and compassion.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
