Newborn Hearing Screen Technician Job Description

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a skilled Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality hearing screens to newborns in hospital settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct newborn hearing screens in a hospital setting
  • Provide education to parents about the importance of hearing screens
  • Enter patient data and validate hearing screen results
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed, including confirming or rescheduling outpatient appointments and following up on equipment issues

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with infants preferred
  • Experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer proficiency and ability to perform accurate data entry
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks and assignments
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays required

Pay:

The pay for this position ranges from $21.10 per hour and is based on years of relevant experience.
