**Responsibilities:**

  • Perform general construction work, including hand digging holes and trenches, and operating various types of trucks and equipment.
  • Install underground telecommunications cabling and flag traffic to ensure safety.
  • Perform daily walkarounds and alert mechanics of any defects.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and employees.

**Qualifications:**

  • Climb into and out of equipment, such as cars, trucks, backhoes, and trenchers.
  • Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Know and obey all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Rules and Regulations.
  • Perform repetitive motion with hand, wrist, feet, head, and shoulder.
  • Work outdoors in a diverse environment and in congested and remote areas.
  • Work while standing or sitting for several hours at a time.
  • Lift and carry up to 75+ pounds.
  • Reach, bend, and stoop while performing work.
  • Maintain visual and audible contact with other crew members and moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects.
