Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Primoris Services Corporation. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing general construction work under the direction of the Foreman/Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general construction work, including hand digging holes and trenches with a shovel and other hand tools.
  • Operate various types of trucks and equipment, including backhoes and trenchers.
  • Install underground telecommunications cabling and perform daily walkarounds to alert mechanics of any defects.
  • Flag traffic and set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and safety barriers.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and employees.
Qualifications
  • Climb into and out of equipment, including cars, trucks, backhoes, and trenchers.
  • Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
  • Know and obey all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Rules and Regulations.
  • Perform repetitive motion with hand, wrist, feet, head, and shoulder.
  • Work outdoors in a diverse environment and in variable heights/depths.
  • Work while standing or sitting for several hours at a time.
  • Lift/carry up to 75+ pounds and reach, bend, stoop while performing work.
  • Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewmen and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement.
