Geosteering Analyst Job Description

Columbine Logging is seeking a highly skilled Geosteering Analyst to join our high-performance operations team. As a Geosteering Analyst, you will play a vital role in the interpretation of the E&P drilling process, working closely with our customers to achieve the goals of the well prior to and while drilling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret drilling data to provide accurate and timely recommendations to customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of drilling operations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of well site drilling operations and geosteering principles.
  • Provide exceptional technical advice to customers on current and future projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geology or a related field.
  • Prior experience using Star Steer software is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure during high workload periods.
Work Environment:
  • 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.
  • Varying workload changes over a day or week shift.
  • Team environment with a focus on collaboration and open communication.
