About the Role

The State Director will work closely with school districts, partners, and stakeholders to cultivate relationships, promote the iteach program, and drive enrollment. This role requires a strong understanding of teacher certification, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex educational landscapes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain local education agency and partner relationships to promote the iteach program and drive enrollment.
  • Support iteach teacher candidates throughout their residency process, providing guidance and resources to ensure successful completion.
  • Design and deliver outreach plans to promote the advantages and benefits of iteach and drive enrollment in your assigned state.
  • Manage Field Supervisor placements and job performance, ensuring that they are equipped to support teacher candidates effectively.
Requirements
  • Broad knowledge of teacher certification and experience in K12 education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex educational landscapes.
  • Leadership experience as a K12 administrator, with a strong understanding of educational policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to customer service and support.
