Job Responsibilities

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Midlands Regional Center, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to our residents, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by medical providers
  • Maintaining accurate health records and reporting any changes or concerns to medical staff
  • Providing individualized care and support to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Participating in on-call rotations and responding to emergencies as needed

You will also have opportunities to engage in professional development, share your expertise with colleagues, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within our department.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in practical nursing, including knowledge of medication administration, patient assessment, and vital sign monitoring. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and ages.
