As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and coordinating the implementation of business applications and systems or enhancements. This position requires moderate supervision and involves working with standard procedures and some independent judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and develop efficient project plans for system design within a limited area of responsibility.
• Lead intermediate-level projects established as corporate priorities.
• Prepare project plans by gathering, analyzing, and making recommendations based on client input. Coordinate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as a subject matter expert and maintain a mutual understanding of project direction with programming staff.
• Balance project priorities and ensure deadlines are met through effective management of scope creep.
• Design business application solutions by interfacing with clients and internal resources within a limited area of responsibility.
• Create supporting documentation for new application features and functions.
• Design and develop high-level functional requirements for new development and enhancements of applications, products, and services.
• Transform functional requirements into system specifications by writing clear and concise application requirements documents.
• Test and implement the application, product, and/or service and provide feedback to programmers/developers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define detailed test plans and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in problem definition, analysis, and develop creative and cost-effective solutions.
• May be required to participate in an on-call program during non-business hours on a rotating or periodic basis.
• May effectively coordinate and execute end-user training.
• May effectively facilitate successful moderate problem resolution along with system enhancement and provide support within multiple areas of responsibility.
