Position Overview

As a Behavior Technician, you will collaborate closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to execute individualized behavior intervention plans in various settings, including clients' homes and community environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to clients' residences and community locations to provide direct services.
  • Engage in one-on-one sessions with children and adolescents to implement behavior strategies.
  • Involve families and caregivers in therapy sessions according to the treatment plan.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of data collection and service notes.
  • Receive ongoing guidance and mentorship from experienced supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • A genuine passion for assisting children with special needs and a high degree of patience.

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; college credits or degrees are preferred.
  • Experience in childcare or working with special needs populations is advantageous.
  • Availability during weekdays is preferred.
