About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, with a focus on process improvement and compliance. They will be responsible for overseeing and improving product quality and compliance in production and service departments, as well as establishing quality standards with vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and compliance
  • Act as a change agent to enhance processes and key performance indicators (KPIs) in delivery, quality, and safety
  • Establish quality standards with vendors in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Manage quality-related processes, including inspections, medical device manufacturing, process improvement, design transfer, and KPI management
  • Provide support for statistical analysis, non-conforming product control, equipment calibration, and supply chain management
  • Monitor industry trends and analyze data for continuous improvement
  • Responsible for managing manufacturing employees, training, and supporting the Plant Manager and Quality Management Representative
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, or Manufacturing Engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience
  • Analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
  • Prior Project Management, problem-solving experience
  • Prior Manufacturing process improvement experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical device
  • Demonstrated success in delivering productivity and cost improvements
  • Knowledge and experience using ERP system
  • Six-Sigma Green or Black belt
