Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic medical dermatology setting. As an LPN, you will work closely with physicians and other staff members to ensure a seamless and patient-centered experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide physical care and emotional support to patients and families under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and Medical Director.
Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and treatment plans, observing, reporting, and recording pertinent patient information into the electronic health record system.
Administer medications within parameters defined by the Dermatology Service, perform nursing procedures within established guidelines, and photograph patients with various skin conditions using various photographic procedures, techniques, and equipment.
Participate in Quality Assurance activities, support peers and colleagues in maintaining established standards of care, and identify patient care needs and utilize nursing resources appropriately.

Requirements

Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse required.
BLS/CPR certification required.
Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.
Graduate of an approved LPN program required.
2 years of LPN experience preferred.
