We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Reproductive Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Planned Parenthood North Central States in Rochester, MN.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of reproductive health care, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The salary for this position is approximately $48.00 per hour, with opportunities for additional compensation based on experience.

About the Role:
  • This is a part-time or full-time position, requiring 24-40 hours of work per week, with flexible scheduling options.
  • The specialist will work a variety of shifts, including Mondays, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

  1. Obtain patient history and perform physical exams as necessary.
  2. Order and interpret diagnostic testing, addressing any abnormal findings.
  3. Develop treatment plans, which may include medical referrals, prescribing medications, and providing patient instruction.
  4. Collaborate with the Health Center Manager to meet clinic goals, productivity benchmarks, and assigned tasks.
  5. Provide patient-focused care, ensuring smooth and efficient patient and clinic flow processes.
  6. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A current active, unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse and APN in the applicable state, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses upon hire.
  • A current national board-certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant.
  • DEA licensure or the ability to obtain it at hire, along with enrollment in the Controlled Substance Monitoring Program as required by the applicable state.
  • An advanced degree, minimally a master's degree.
  • A current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification for healthcare providers.
