Job Summary

This Registered Nurse (RN) Float position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in various settings within our hospitals. As an RN Float, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring seamless transitions between shifts and units.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care according to established nursing standards and protocols.
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments, develop, and implement personalized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, including medications, treatments, and test results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure clear understanding of care plans and progress.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred; current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform job duties, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
