Position Overview

The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is a key professional in the realm of clinical research, operating under the supervision of the clinical research site management and the Principal Investigator (PI). While the PI holds the primary responsibility for the clinical trial's overall execution, the CRC is tasked with managing, supporting, facilitating, and coordinating the daily activities associated with the clinical trial, thereby playing an essential role in the study's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the trial Investigator in the screening and evaluation of potential study participants' eligibility.
  • Maintain accurate case report forms, charts, and essential documentation.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and oversight to other clinical research coordinators and research assistants.
  • Ensure that all clinical activities adhere to established research protocols and comply with relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedural requirements.
  • Collect and input data as required.
  • Support management in the selection and onboarding process for potential new hires.
  • Assist with the initiation, maintenance, and closure of studies as necessary for the team.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in handling various study assignments.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
  • Phlebotomy experience is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience as a medical assistant, LPN, or RN is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to quickly learn, comprehend complex protocols, follow detailed instructions, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding patients, employees, and company information, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Extensive knowledge of clinical trials through education and/or experience.
  • Successful completion of GCP Certification and Advanced CRC certification is preferred.
