Position: Brewing and Batching Supervisor

Company: City Brewery's Latrobe facility

Job Overview: We are in search of a proactive leader to take on the role of Brewing and Batching Supervisor within our production team. This position entails overseeing production workflows, managing team members, ensuring a secure work environment, and fostering career advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess raw materials inventory to support production needs
  • Align filtration schedules with packaging demands
  • Identify and address challenges and opportunities in production processes
  • Guide team members and assess their performance
  • Train staff on operational procedures and safety standards
  • Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining operational efficiency
  • Record production data and perform quality evaluations
  • Encourage safety practices and compliance with GMP standards
  • Collaborate with various departments to achieve production objectives

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma is required; an Associate's Degree or brewing certification is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in production within the food or beverage sector
  • Excellent communication, planning, and leadership abilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and computer operations
  • Demonstrated capability to effectively lead a team
