Job Title: Night Auditor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our team at AC Cleveland Hotel, a Colwen Hotels property. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of hotel transactions, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the front desk area, and providing exceptional guest service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate the Front Desk: Assist guests with inquiries and other needs during pre-arrival, registration, stay, checkout, and post-departure.
  • End-of-Day Activities: Post charges to accounts, balance ledgers, run night audit/daily close, back-up, and roll date.
  • Provide Exceptional Guest Service: Treat requests with professionalism, tact, and courtesy, and act with a sense of urgency.
  • Manage Front Desk Operations: Ensure check-in and check-out are timely, and maintain knowledge of hotel policies, including rates, discounts, special offers, and community events.
  • Process Guest Check-In: Confirm reservations, assign guest rooms, and ensure prompt delivery of billing to guests.
  • Communicate with Lead Audit Team: Relate to daily closing and issues, and maintain knowledge of upcoming events, local area, and hotel offerings.
Requirements:
  • Experience: One year of related experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills: Superior interpersonal and customer service skills, ability to deal with difficult guests.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and common computer software programs, and ability to learn computer software programs and operate property management systems.
