Pharmacist Navigator

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist Navigator to join our team at Value Apothecaries Inc. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining relationships with physicians and physician practices to promote the use of specialty pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase the use of specialty pharmaceuticals in physician practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and their staff to provide education and training on the use of specialty pharmaceuticals.
• Assist patients with navigating the healthcare system to access specialty pharmaceuticals.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to patients and healthcare providers.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in community/retail/ambulatory pharmacy or health-system related experience.
• Previous experience in a specialty pharmacy and/or processing prior authorizations is highly desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with pharmacy dispensing systems and insurance adjudication processes.
