Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at AdventHealth Waterman. As a Clinical Ladder Program Nurse, you will be responsible for promoting and restoring patients' health by completing the nursing process and providing care consistent with the policies, procedures, and standards of the facility and the Florida State Board of Nursing Practice Act.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a plan of care that is individualized and goal-directed based on patient needs and standards of care.
  • Collaborate and partner with Medical Staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care.
  • Supervise and delegate care given by members of the health care team.
  • Record care, patient condition, and interventions taken in the medical record in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Advocate and support patients and families to receive the care and treatment needed as identified in the plan of care.
  • Participate in departmental or hospital performance improvement activities.
  • Utilize equipment and supplies in a safe, responsible manner.
  • Provide patient/family education and training based on each patient's needs and abilities.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a School of Nursing, Associates Degree or Diploma.
  • BSN or Bachelor in Healthcare related field.
  • MSN or Masters in Healthcare related field.
  • Current Florida RN license or if New graduate, offer contingent on passing NCLEX.
  • AHA ACLS certification at time of hire for ED, ICU, CVICU, PCU, OR, PACU, MED/SURG Observation Unit, Endoscopy, and Surgical Services, Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery and Nursery Dept., Cardio DI, Cardiac Pulmonary Rehab.
  • AHA NRP certification for Pediatrics, Labor & Delivery and Nursery Dept.
  • AHA PALS certification for ED, Pediatrics, PACU.
