Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Interventional Physiatry Specialist

The Physiatry Division at Providence Medical Group is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our interventional physiatry team. This role would focus primarily on the diagnosis and management of patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions, with an emphasis on injection-based therapies.
Candidates with an interest in sports medicine, non-opioid pain management, and non-surgical spine care should consider this role. The successful candidate will work alongside a large team of physiatrists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, nurse practitioners, and physician associates at Providence Brain & Spine Institute.
This position is clinic-based at Providence Portland Medical Center, offering a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with an interventional physiatrist and physician associate to provide comprehensive non-operative spine and musculoskeletal care
- Participate in training and education programs to develop skills in injection-based therapies and other relevant areas
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines
