Department: Business Administration
FTE: Less than 67%
Work Hours: Varies based on assignment
Starting Salary Range: Class II, step 1 of Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule
Anticipated Start Date: Fall 2024
Job Responsibilities
Part-time faculty members play a crucial role in supporting the mission and values of the colleges and the District. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting classroom instruction and student evaluations
- Developing curriculum and advising students
- Engaging in professional development and addressing assignment-specific needs
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Master's degree in accountancy or business administration with an accounting concentration, or
- Bachelor's degree in business with an accounting emphasis, along with a Master's in business, business administration, business education, taxation, or finance, or
- Bachelor's degree with a current Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, or
- Equivalent qualifications.
Working Conditions
Faculty positions may involve extended periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom environment. Specific conditions may vary based on the subjects taught.
