Part Time Instructor Pool

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking a part-time instructor to join our team. As a part-time faculty member, you will play a vital role in supporting the advancement of our college's visions, missions, and values.
Responsibilities- Teach courses in a variety of subjects, including CIS, to students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to promote academic success.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the college's goals and objectives.
- Provide academic advising and support to students, including guidance on course selection and career development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current in their field.
- Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience, or associate degree and six years of professional experience, or the equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse academic environment and promote equity-mindedness.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, and staff.
Faculty positions may require long periods of standing and walking in a typical classroom setting. Specific conditions may vary by subjects taught.
