Piedmont Pets Veterinary Care, a leading animal hospital in Warrenton, VA, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Veterinarian to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, leading by example, and driving our hospital's mission to exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including routine medical, surgical, and dental procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Lead and mentor our veterinary team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Collaborate with hospital management to drive financial performance and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices, attending continuing education meetings and workshops.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Virginia.
- 3+ years of leadership/management experience, preferably in a veterinary setting.
- 3+ years of experience as a veterinarian, with a strong track record of patient care and client satisfaction.
- Professional comportment and appearance, with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
