Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate I to join our team at Compunnel, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of merchandise, products, and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform quality checks on outbound and inbound shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Execute ERP system transactions on outbound and inbound shipments to maintain accurate inventory levels and track shipments.
  • Update FMS for parcel and freight shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
  • Learns to use handheld RF scanners and Warehouse Management System to fulfill orders and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Handles and controls hazardous material on both inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Complies with 5S safety, housekeeping practices, and regulations to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Completes all required safety training and follows protocol in all risk situations.
  • Lifts up to 75 pounds unassisted and operates powered industrial trucks, including work assist vehicles, off the ground order pickers, reach trucks, dock stockers, and powered pallet jacks.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Effective communication skills and basic computer literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler.
  • Fundamental reading and writing skills required.
