Job Summary

The Social Worker Program Coordinator is a critical role within the Mental Health Clinic at the Dayton VAM Medical Center. This position is responsible for coordinating and managing the administrative and clinical aspects of the clinic, ensuring seamless delivery of services to our nation's veterans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and implement specialty programs across the facility, ensuring alignment with national directives and local policies.
  • Develop and maintain local policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with national guidelines and regulations.
  • Supervise a team of social workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance program goals and patient-centered care.
  • Oversee fiscal matters, including budgeting and resource allocation, to ensure efficient program operations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work from a fully accredited school of social work.
  • Licensed or certified at the advanced practice level.
  • Proven experience in program coordination and management, with a focus on mental health services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to drive program improvement.
