As a Technical Sales Representative at OTC Industrial Technologies, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue expansion. This position requires a strong understanding of electro-mechanical rotating equipment, fabrication/manufacturing of equipment, and machine shop practices.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and grow the sales territory by developing and nurturing relationships with account decision makers.
- Work closely with consulting engineers in the industrial and wastewater treatment market to specify represented products and services.
- Establish and maintain key relationships with manufacturers and stay updated on new equipment changes and offerings.
- Implement market coverage strategies and leverage key contacts with Engineering, Contractors, and Municipalities.
- Drive product preference and product line initiatives in the market.
- Identify, track, and bid projects in assigned territory.
- Monitor and work long life-cycle projects for water and wastewater processing equipment.
- Engineering or technical degree or 5+ years customer-facing rotating equipment, field service/maintenance experience.
- 3+ years of successful industrial/municipal sales experience.
- Proficient in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and CRM software (Selltis a plus).
- Valid drivers' license with a clean driving record.
