Are you a seasoned benefits financial expert seeking a challenging role in executive leadership? We are currently looking for an experienced Health and Benefits Financial Strategist to join our team at Willis Towers Watson.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you serving as the financial lead for large, complex client assignments. You will leverage your expertise to make strategic recommendations on funding, plan design, and innovative financial solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and deliver complex concepts and financial/actuarial/analytic results to effectively drive client action and improve plan performance
  • Lead medium to large clients' financial/actuarial engagements
  • Develop and deliver the financial/actuarial strategy for a portfolio of medium and/or large clients
  • Drive revenue growth through client sales of additional actuarial, financial, and/or risk solutions
  • Provide consulting quality reviews and client delivery for all types of financial/actuarial deliverables
  • Guide team (regional and global) on deliverables based on client need; review models and presentations for client delivery
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 10+ years' experience and demonstrated success in the delivery of complex health and welfare financial/actuarial strategies and analysis in a consulting or brokerage environment
  • Proven ability to generate revenue
  • Track record of success in managing and growing client relationships
  • Deep understanding and expert knowledge in all aspects of employee benefit plan design, underwriting, and funding concepts
  • Proven ability to lead data analytic projects
  • Interest and aptitude in keeping abreast of latest developments in health and welfare plan strategy and leading the development of new intellectual capital
  • Ability to leverage judgment and past experiences to predict which methods will work
  • Multiple years of experience across one or multiple client segments
  • An executive presence with polished and well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Superior ability to influence and collaborate with senior management and work across all levels of an organization
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
  • State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
  • Actuarial designation and current continuing education (optional)
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000.00 to $200,000.00 USD per year, plus an annual short-term incentive bonus. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health and welfare benefits, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. This role is eligible for flexible working arrangements, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.
