**About the Role**


As a Senior Nursing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. This will involve overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing units, managing staff performance, and implementing processes to improve patient outcomes.


**Key Responsibilities**



  • Provide guidance and supervision to nursing staff on all shifts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, and ensure appropriate documentation.
  • Conduct patient rounds and provide feedback to assigned staff.
  • Initiate coaching, counseling, and corrective action as necessary.
  • Review and investigate patient, family, and staff concerns, and take action to resolve and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of quality nursing staff.
  • Review staffing at change of shift and assign and replace staff to meet patient care needs.
  • Ensure the nursing unit operates efficiently and effectively, with consideration to budget and cost controls.

**Requirements**



  • One year of nurse management/leadership experience preferred.
  • Active, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Ability to lead a diverse team of individuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to make independent decisions and work without direct supervision.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government personnel, and the public.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of current standards of nursing practice.
  • Must be knowledgeable of computer systems and applications.
  • Excellent customer service focus.

**Salary Range**


The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
