Job Description

Our client, a leading financial and technology services firm, is seeking a strong Test Lead for their HRIS solutions. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating all Quality Assurance activities across HR and Corporate systems.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of system implementations, migrations, and integrations, driving test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across multiple concurrent projects.

Must sit onsite in McLean, VA, Richmond, VA or Plano, TX hybrid (Mon & Fri remote/Tue-Thu onsite)

Rate: $45 - $50 / hr. w2


Responsibilities:
  • Lead the creation and implementation of the overall test strategy, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational objectives.
  • Define the testing scope, approach, resources, schedule, and deliverables for the project.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for HR and corporate systems, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with program managers, business analysts, system architects, and engineering leads to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Identify test requirements from specifications, map test cases to requirements, and ensure coverage.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3-5 years in a test lead or management role.
  • Extensive experience with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM) and corporate systems.
  • Proven experience in leading and implementing Behavior Driven Development and Test Driven Development frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray) and test automation frameworks (BDD, Cucumber , Selenium, Rest Assured, Playwright, PACT Js and Sauce Labs ).
  • Proven experience in leading testing efforts for large, complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
