Job Title: Substation Procurement Manager

At MittGroup, we are seeking a highly skilled Substation Procurement Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies for substation projects, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies for substation projects to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services.
  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost reliability, and performance.
  • Negotiation and Contract Management: Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure reasonable terms and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Logistics and Delivery: Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations.
  • Budget Management: Manage procurement budget and cost control measures.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business preferred or specific years of work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in procurement with at least 2 in substation within the oil and gas industry.
  • Certifications: Professional certification such as CPM or CSCP preferred.
  • Skills: Expert knowledge of substation equipment, materials, and services including transmission line work. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
