At Linden Square Assisted Living Center, we are seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of medications and treatments to our residents, in accordance with physician orders. You will also communicate any concerns to the physician and perform services of resident support staff as directed in the individual service plan.

To be successful in this role, you must have satisfactorily completed training in medications – including administration and documentation. You must also be able to demonstrate skill and knowledge of medication identification, use, purpose, adverse effect, and contra-indications. Additionally, you must maintain current certification or licensure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by physician
  • Appropriate documentation of medication and treatment administrations
  • Documentation of events and incidents
  • Summary documentation in resident records
  • Direct care and service to residents as needed
  • Communicate appropriately with residents, family members, physician, support staff, and ancillary care providers
