Description:

Hamilton Center, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our Vigo County Services division. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will provide developmentally appropriate services to children aged birth to three years in a nurturing childcare environment.

  • Establish trusting relationships with children and families
  • Provide direct care to maintain appropriate staff/child ratios
  • Assist with planning and implementation of programs
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments for children and families
  • Provide information to parents about child's activities and needs
  • Act as a client advocate by supporting referrals to community resources
  • Maintain records of client interactions and referrals
  • Participate in staff meetings and development activities
  • Ensure a clean and safe environment

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or CDA with 5 years' experience
  • Certification in CPR/First Aid
  • Physical ability to interact with infants and toddlers
  • Ability to manage job-related stress

Conditions of Employment:

  • Tuberculin screening and vaccinations required
  • Drug screening and training completion
  • Adherence to company policies and regulations
  • Background checks
