Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough speech therapy assessments as per physician directives.

2. Accurately document evaluation results following established protocols.

3. Develop detailed treatment plans with defined goals, frequency, duration, and methods.

4. Ensure all necessary physician orders are secured for evaluations and treatments.

5. Provide effective therapy to patients, adjusting methods as required while adhering to safety protocols.

6. Maintain timely and precise documentation of patient progress.

7. Regularly update treatment plans in accordance with facility standards.

8. Record discharge summaries and necessary in-service documentation.

9. Complete all required facility documentation.

10. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team as a rehabilitation representative.

11. Participate in patient scheduling and screenings as needed.

12. Ensure ethical billing practices for all therapy services provided.

13. Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff and students in compliance with regulatory standards.

14. Foster professional relationships with colleagues, facility staff, patients, and their families.

15. Offer educational in-services related to patient care and speech therapy as required.

16. Adhere to all facility policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality regulations.

17. Maintain punctuality and professionalism in all work-related interactions.

18. Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by supervisory staff.
