Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Unavailable. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality Nuclear Medicine studies and ensuring the safety of patients through the safe operation and care of equipment.


Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:


  • Performing Nuclear Medicine studies using accepted techniques and practices
  • Ensuring patient safety through the administration of IV and oral radiopharmaceuticals
  • Communicating effectively with ancillary areas and internal staff
  • Evaluating, coordinating, and executing responsibilities under pressure situations
  • Providing professional and quality care to patients from neonates to geriatrics

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • One (1) year or more experience as a technologist in a full-service Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Department
  • Graduation from a Nuclear Medicine program
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine issued by the State of California (CNMT), Certification in Nuclear Medicine/Radiological Technology issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT-NM), and/or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Computer skills for operating within the RIS/HIS/PACS medical terminology and good communication skills
  • Ability to successfully complete job-related communication and arithmetic calculations, as well as Radiation Safety/Safety Program related courses
  • Current CPR certification
