Residential Maintenance Specialist

Job OverviewWe're seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at one of our professionally managed residential properties. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring that they remain safe and comfortable for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize all maintenance work to be performed on assigned properties
- Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, supplies, and work materials
- Complete daily work schedules for routine maintenance duties
- Complete maintenance work orders as assigned
- Ensure quality of work duties performed
- Notify Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager of all problems and potential issues of concern
- Maintain a working knowledge of all utility sources and supply lines
- Perform necessary maintenance relating to both the exterior and interiors of all buildings of the property assigned
- Handle emergency situations that may arise and communicate all details of the incident to the Property Manager
- Perform all phases of snow removal from all needed areas and maintain all appropriate equipment
- General maintenance experience to include painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mowing, plowing, etc.
- Will be available for after hours on-call as necessary
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
- Special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined
- Job Type: Maintenance Technician
- Work Hours: Full Time; Monday through Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm (weekend hours required as needed)
- Training for Position: preventative maintenance, safety, and related
- Physical Requirements: standing, kneeling, lifting, carrying, painting
- Required Education: Applicable Work History
- Required Experience: Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in residential property maintenance
- Current and Valid Driver's License required
- Qualities: Demonstrates integrity on a personal and professional level; Ability to solve problems involving maintenance, safety, and challenging situations
