Key Responsibilities- Perform a wide variety of laboratory procedures in all specialty areas within the lab, adhering to federal and state laws, regulations, accreditation requirements, and certification standards.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and correct submission of required information and documentation.
- Provide service excellence to internal and external customers through effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- Prepare stains, reagents solutions, and specimens for testing, following established procedures to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Recognize and report quality control discrepancies, taking appropriate action to maintain quality standards.
- Participate in quality assurance procedures, documenting quality control and preventive maintenance.
- New York State Department of Education License or Limited Permit as a Clinical Laboratory Technician.
- Prior laboratory experience preferred.
