About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Highway Design Engineer to join our team at the State of Indiana. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for designing and developing transportation infrastructure projects that meet the needs of our citizens.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transportation infrastructure projects that meet state and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design standards
  • Prepare and review complex design plans and reports
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (civil engineering preferred)
  • Registered Professional Engineer license in Indiana (or ability to obtain)
  • At least four years of experience in engineering, transportation research, or related field
  • Valid driver's license
